It was good to see a swathe of some 25 K&P athletes taking advantage of the SML match at Kingsmeadow, from returning Vets to debuting U17s,and all stations in between.
A fair number of those in action are part and parcel of the BAL team already,or have their sights on our senior squad, and this was an ideal occasion to show mettle. It was also a chance for some confidence building, some rehab, some reassessment and some gathering of experience.
The Picks of the Day included:
Reappearances - Victor Nwagbara and John Ratcliff
Rehabilitation from injury - Humphrey Waddington and Adam Bellis
New Blood - Tariq Sheikh and Piers Strauss
Young Blood - Kyan Koranteng and Ali Kokaz
Personal Bests - Michael Clarke
New Club Records - Gareth Cook(x2)
Match Result - HHH 112/K&P 106/Medway&M 71/E Grinstead 50.
